Unmatched Live Data
Forecasts only give you so much. Get live ocean and weather data as it's reported. Other applications have reporting delays of 30-45 minutes, whereas we have delays of a few seconds.
5 Day Hourly & 16 Day Extended Forecasts
Hourly forecasts available for up to 5 days in advance. Extended 16-day forecasts let you start planning the excuses to your boss far in advance.
Customizable Spot Settings & Notifications
Set your ideal conditions for each spot you surf with the most customizable notification system out there. Keep it simple or customize every aspect of your favorite conditions and get notified when it's breaking or forecasted to break that way.

What makes Forsea different?
Forsea takes a live data-first approach, trying our best to give you a no-nonsense experience. We don't want to waste your time with false promises of "epic" waves only to be let down when you get to the beach or worse, get told it sucks when it's firing.
I'm new to surfing, is Forsea for me?
Of course! Forsea is designed to be easy to use for surfers of all skill levels. Our features are designed to grow with you as you progress further into the sport and carve your own path.
How fast is your live data?
While other applications have condition reporting delays of up to 45 minutes, Forsea's data ingestion system ensures that information is available within seconds of being published by a station.
How customizable are your spot settings?
If you want, you can customize just about every aspect of your alerts. Set any time of day, wave heights, wind directions and speeds, swell angles, periods, tide positions and directions, and more! If you can imagine it, you can probably set it. If not, let us know!
How often will I receive notifications?
Spots can generate numerous live alerts and one forecast alert in a day, but we won't blow up your inbox with notifications. You can receive a maximum of 1 Live and 1 Forecast email per day (if conditions are met). Emails can contain alerts from multiple spots.
Why aren't you on the app store?
We don't have a need to harvest data in the background or push annoying ads to you, so we don't need to be on the app store. If you want quick access to Forsea, just add it to your home screen!
Free? What's the catch?
Forsea is currently free because we're still in the early stages of development. There will be some bugs and things will change as we find our groove. This can't last forever, but we will do something special for our early users so sign up now! We don't have investors or a board to answer to, so we are free to make the best app we can for you.
